System files include libraries of functions, system services, drivers for printers and other hardware, system preferences, and other configuration files. The programs that are part of the system software include , file management tools, system utilites, etc

A firewall would be a software or hardware device that is used to prevent hackers to access to your computer and your files. Some internet routers can preform this function as well as some software such as Windows Defender.

Hardware Components

Hard Ware Components

The processor tells your computer what to do and when to do it, it decides which tasks are more important. them to your computers needs.

A processor is a primary chip inside a computer and it contains the digital circuitry.  A processor executes all the programs and the instructions inside the computer. The processor is also embedded in the small devices and in the personal computers and is known as microprocessor. Its speed is measured in the Gigahertz.  Higher the processor’s speed, the more instructions it can process in less time.  It is also known as the central processing unit (CPU).
RAM
Computer memory can refer to many types of memory within a computer, but, typically, it refers to random access memory (RAM). It is physically found on computer chips that are inserted onto the computer’s motherboard. RAM is electronic, rather than mechanical; that is, it does not have moving parts and therefore data access to it is very fast. Modern computers often have somewhere between 256 MB (megabytes) and 2 GB (gigabytes) of RAM, although there are, of course, computers with more or less RAM. RAM is also volatile, meaning that it gets lost when the computer is switched off.

Storage Devices

A computer storage device is any type of hardware that stores data. The most common type of storage device, which nearly all computers have, is a hard drive. The computer's primary hard drive stores the operating system, applications, and files and folders for users of the computer.

External hard drives that connect via firewall and usb are also common. These types of drives are often used for backing up internal hard drives, storing video or photo  or for simply adding extra storage.

USB
A flash drive is a small storage device that can be used to transport files from one computer to another. They are slightly larger than a stick of gum, yet many of these devices can carry all your homework for an entire year! You can keep one on a key chain, carry it around your neck, or attach it to your book bag.

A cd rom drive is use to store infomation is stead of on to you conmputer, laptop as you can take it any wera you would like to they can also hold dvd and othere infomation.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS

Pc and Base unit

Short for Personal computer or IBM PC. The first personal computer produced by IBM was called the PC, and increasingly the term PC came to mean IBM or IBM-compatible personal computers, to the exclusion of other types of personal computers. Pc stands Personal computer.
Laptops

Laptops are versatile, lightweight, and portable. Increased RAM (random access memory) and hard drive space make them more powerful than their predecessors. They can handle the most demanding software applications, and the longer life of modern batteries encourages their use away from the home or office.
A netbook is a mini-laptop computer designed for mobility, wired and wireless online access, word processing and general office applications. They are very light and featuring LCD screens between and small screens the netbook is a perfect companion for people on the go who want connectivity without carrying a much heavier, full-sized laptop along.

The main purpose of a personal digital assistant (PDA) is to act as an electronic organizer or day planner that is portable, easy to use and capable of sharing information with your pc. It's supposed to be an extension of the PC, not a replacement.

Gane console

A video game console is an interactive entertainment computer or modified computer system that produces a video display signal which can be used with a display device (a television, monitor, etc.) to display a video game. The term "video game console" is used to distinguish a machine designed for consumers to buy and use solely for playing video games from a personal computer, which has many other functions, or arcade machines, which are designed for businesses that buy them and then charge others to play.

Mobile Phones

An electronic telecommunications device, often referred to as a cellular phone or cell phone. Mobile phones connect to a wireless communications network through radio wave or satellite transmissions. Most mobile phones provide voice communications, Short Message Service (sms), Multimedia Message Service (Msn),  and newer phones may also provide internet services such as Web browsing and e-mail

A Tablet PC is a cross between a notebook PC and a (PDAIt's a flat-panel portable PC in the form of a slate. A user inputs data either by tapping the screen. The tablet PC can wirelessly connect to the Internet and other PCs and is intended to provide the power of a notebook in hand-held form.

A server is primarily a program that runs on a machine, providing a particular and specific service to other machines connected to the machine on which it is found. Nowadays, server functionality has become so rich, complex and varied in nature that there are whole very powerful computers dedicated to being exclusively servers. This has led many non-technical people to denote servers as being machines that run services.

Embedded devices are small programmable chips that can be programmed to execute certain orders such as open doors bank machines'
control panel in an elevator is an embedded device
coffee machine that senses the temp of coffee/water mixture
Auto sliding doors that senses the temp of people approaching the door giving the command to a mechanical accessories to slide open then close after certain delay
alot of things that run without human beings intervention are generically described as Embedded devices.

Output Devices

Monitor - A monitor is the screen on which words, numbers, and graphics can be seem.  The monitor is the most common output device

Printer - A printer prints whatever is on the monitor onto paper.  Printers can print words, numbers, or pictures

Speaker - A speaker gives you sound output from your computer.  Some speakers are built into the computer and some are separate.you select the volume that you would like it to be.

Headphones - Headphones give sound output from the computer.  They are similar to speakers, except they are worn on the ears so only one person can hear the output at a time.

3G

§Bluetooth is a way of exchanging data wirelessly over short distances, you can send pictures and videos, music through Bluetooth it is a part of everyday life you can also connect to other devices  and take control of it you can only do this if they do not have a lock on it you ca also connect to you computer and download songs. If you leave it on for to long it with run your battery low very quickly. You can connect to other people phone so they can send you images videos, music.

Wireless is known as Wi-Fi it is away of getting on to broadband  the out all of the wires

3G is the third generation of wireless technologies. It comes with enhancements over previous wireless technologies, like high-speed transmission, advanced multimedia access and global roaming. 3G is mostly used with mobile phones and handsets as a means to connect the phone to the Internet or other IP networks in order to make voice and video calls, to download and upload data and to surf the net.
